Why is the nursery named ABDL-Montreal?
Whe chose this name because it is widely recognized by infantilists while the four-letter acronym ABDL means little to the general population.
When we chose the nursery's name, several criteria were retained. They are:
-
That the name be instantly recognizable by infantilists as the four letters ABDL is well known to the community.
-
The name should not sound like or look like any acronym used by organisations that deal with real children for obvious reasons.
-
The name should be usable in many languages most importantly inn French and English.
-
When heard by the general public, who is unaware of the existance of infantilists, the name should have not attract their curiosity.
-
The internet domain name should be available.
-
The name had to be available under the Quebec legal jurisdiction.
Are diapers supplied?

Can I bring my own stuff?
Of course you may bring your own toys, clothes, diapers, etc. We ask, however, that they be caried in a discrete way (luggage, pack sac, duffel bag, etc.)
Can I bring friends with me?
Of course! You must however mention it when making the reservation so that the nursery can be prepared accordingly.

To learn more on security at the nursery
I would like to go to the nursery but I am shy! What should I do?
First you should understand that everything has been done to insure your security and confidentiality. For more information on these measures please see the relevant section of this site.
You should also understand that it is normal for infantilists to feel insecure when talking about thmselves with stangers. The ABDL-Montreal staff is very aware of this fact and you should feel comfortable communicating with them; most are infantilists themselves.

To know how to prepare for a visit at the nursery
I have set an appointment but am not sure I will go
It is very important that you advise us if you change your mind or if an unforeseen event prevents you from coming.
By not showing up for your appointment, you might be preventing someone else from benefiting from the nursery and have a nanny loose the reserved time.
We understand the stress that might arise from a first visit but still ask that you advise us of any cancellation. You might want to read our section on ow to prepare for a vist to put you at ease.

How to prepare for a stay at the nursery.
How much in advance should I reserve a stay?
As availability of the nursery varies according to the seasons and day of week, we ask that you try to make a reservation for your stay a couple of days in advance to increase your chance of success. However, you might get luky and get an appointment the same day! Get in touch with the ABDL-Montreal staff or directly with a nanny for availability.
Why create a nursery?
Opening and operating a nursery like ours cost a lot of money and time (rent, public utilities, maintenance). Many of those involved do this out of passion (beinginfantilists themselves); not for profit. However, profit still needs to be generated in order for us to continue. Our objective is to become profitable but all profits will be re-invested into the nursery.
Who runs the nursery?
There are many persons involved. Some are known in the ABDL community while othewr prefer to keep a lower profile. Here is a list of the administrators:
-
Ticarl
Well known Quebecer infantilist who organised many meetings or get togethers in the Quebec city and Montreal regions. His blog has been instrumental in the gathering of many infantilists and he has kept it up for many years. Although less active on the blogging scene now( his projects leave him very little spare time)he will resume blogging when time allows.
-
C2
"Underground" infantilist and friend of Ticarl. Has been a key-player in the startup of the nursery and handles much of its administration. There are good chances that he will answer when you call or email ABDL-Montreal!
-
Baby Carosimo
True girl-infantilist who devotes much of her time to the upkeep and management of the nursery.
-
Business partners and nannies also bring precious help in the smooth sailing of the nursery.
